Germán Rojas (b. 1995) is a New York City based artist raised in Mexico City, Mexico. Rojas’ work explores the narrative archetypes, transnational identity, and color theory from a psychoanalytical perspective. His canvases draw influence ranging from ancient iconography to contemporary pop culture and combine them in an alchemical process. Rojas incorporates a range of classical techniques and approaches to painting, mirroring the range of visual influences prismatically channeled through his work.”
